The Consequence of SEO Lies

Several SEO companies are offering unbelievable guarantees such as assuring their clients of top 2 or top 3 listing in the search engine results pages of major search engines such as Google, Yahoo and MSN. This is a lie. However, we can’t blame the SEO service providers because they are pushed to do that.

Who pushes these SEO service providers to offer such unachievable promises? Well, it’s the clients. Let’s admit that clients are putting pressures to SEO companies because of the “tradition” that is hard to break. SEO industry today is getting bigger, making the competition even tougher. Winning the competition is what everyone is aiming for. How can they beat the competition in this event? Of course, as a web marketing expert, have to stand out from the crowd. And in order to stand out, you have to offer alluring guarantees such as top listings.

When SEO providers cannot achieve rankings on schedule that clients gave them, they are forced to refund thousands of dollars. Or, the more likely to happen is to use spamming methods just to meet the client expectations.

SEO spammers don’t care one way or another as they have no sense of ethics. There are also SEO companies who are concerned about their clients such as Web Marketing Experts (WME). Even if the clients put pressures on them, spamming is not the last resort. The last resort for them is to further enhance the services they offer. Enhancing the services is achieved by venturing in all kinds of SEO strategies that are ethical only.
